In American Literature, the students engage meaningfully with literary content from our nation. From pre-colonial times to the modern age, the students see a full picture of how American history and culture affect the literature of each time period. Students also read several novels written by American authors, memorize poetry and speeches from American rhetoric, and review grammar and composition content at the college preparatory level.
